1. How do people see my poems?

You can choose to include your poem’s URL on a personal web page or send it in an e-mail or put it anywhere on the internet you have access to. We give you a link to your poem that is stored on the InstaPoems.com web site. Click here to find out more about displaying your poem. [top]

2. Can I make changes to my poem?

You can make changes to your poem at any time. Just log into your account, click on MY POEMS, select the poem you want to change. Click on EDIT and make your changes. Be sure to click on either SAVE AND EXIT or SAVE AND CONTINUE EDITING to save the changes you make to your poem. [top]

3. Can I list all of my poems?

Yes, you can. There are several ways to list multiple poems. You can list by poet, by category or you can list all poems. Click here to find out more... [top]

5. How do I get comments on my poems?

All comments are always available when you log into your account (unless you delete a comment). Just log into your account, click on MY POEMS, and select the poem for which you want to manage the comments. Click on EDIT and click COMMENTS. You can then elect to show, hide or delete each individual comment. [top]

6. Can I use poems by other poets?

You can post any poem by any poet that is in the Public Domain. Just remember that all copyright laws apply to your personal web pages. InstaPoems is obligated, under the Millennium Copyright Act and any subsequent acts to remove any poem that violates any copyright law. [top]

7. What happens if I don’t keep my account current?

Your poems will remain on InstaPoems but there will be small ads showing on your poems. If you reinstitute your account the ads will go away. [top]

8. Where can I post my poems?

9. How long do you keep my poems?

We have no plans to ever remove the stored poems. [top]

10. Can anyone else copy my poems?

It is always possible to read and write down a poem but InstaPoems displays your poem so the average user cannot just “copy and paste” your poem. [top]

11. Can I put my own music on my poem?

At the present time InstaPoems doesn’t have the capability of uploading user defined music to your poem. [top]

12. Can I put a personal picture with my poem?

At the present time InstaPoems doesn’t have the capability of uploading user defined pictures to your poem. [top]

13. How secure is my information? What is your privacy policy?

We only share the information you allow us to. We will never sell or share email addresses or other customer information. We will not send SPAM email to you or anyone else unless you request it. For more information, please see our privacy policy page. [top]

14. I can't see my poem - do I need special software?

Be sure you have Javascript enabled on your web browser, and the latest version of Macromedia Flash installed. These are required to be able to deliver the kind of rich content that allows for a full presentation of the poem. The poem viewer will work with most major web browsers, but if you are using an older version, you may wish to upgrade to a current one. We recommend the Firefox browser for optimal performance. 15. Do I have to pay to use InstaPoems?

As soon as you register for InstaPoems, you can immediately begin creating and sharing poems. A small advertisement will be displayed above your poem, based on the subject of your poem. If you decide to pay for a subscription, your poems will be displayed with no advertising. [top]

16. How much does a paid subscription to InstaPoems cost?
